Gambier Branch Library

The Gambier Branch of the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County is located in the Gambier Community Center. The Gambier Library is managed by Betty Carpenter. Her staff includes Wendy Aune, Allie Dible, Sharon Proper and Sean Smith.

The Library hours are:

Monday, Thursday, Friday 10 – 5
Tuesday and Wednesday 11 – 8
Saturday 10 – 4
Sunday Closed

Our Gambier branch offers Story Time and the Summer Reading Program for children, along with a large selection of books and magazines. There are computers available for public use. Betty and her staff can be reached by calling 427-2665.

June 15th – Monster Trucks, at the Premier/UEC Theatre, 11535 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mount Vernon
June 21st – SPI Spot, Get Crafty
June 28th – Duke Otherwise, Wordplay, tap dancing and music
July 5th – Open House at Gambier Community Library, 11am to 8pm

Children who reached their reading goals may bring their Reading Records to the Gambier Community Library to receive a free book, courtesy of the FRIENDS of the Library.
